Alex Jones is doing exactly what you should be doing right now- prolifically expressing himself and making a career out of it with more merchandise than Disney.
The bulk of his stuff is pure conspiratorial hoopla. Conspiratorial hoopla sells well and benefits greatly from our viral Internet age combined with a cynical, overworked/underpaid populace, so Mr. Jones is simply feeding a hungry market for this sort of content. The themes he attempts to illuminate are worth the look, just not through his demented lens. At best folks could use his stuff as a random starting point for further exploration via rational, fact-based sources, rather than go deeper into wonderland with this cross between G. Gordon Liddy and Nostradamus.
Why pore through all the sane, boring legitimate news outlets that exist when the animated Jones lays it all out for you with intriguing, slick videos videos claiming, among other things that “Obama is continuing the process of transforming America into something that resembles Nazi Germany * “ ? His site’s shop peddles seemingly endless amounts of fringe material for your 16 year-old cousin to smoke pot with, including the many-times-redone factual train wreck Loose Change and T-shirts that you’d expect to see in the back pages of Soldier Of Fortune magazine (or Mad Magazine). The usual suspect conspiracy ‘greatest hits’ are all there. 9-11 was an inside job, global warming is a hoax, the government is trying to disarm the citizenry so they can conquer them, Israel, guns, on and on- all major credit cards accepted.

His hastily thrown together The Obama Deception video continued with his well-worn theme of alarmist sensationalism, X-Files style electronic music, and ransack editing. Right in the first two minutes of the thing a flash reference is made to the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008 (Bush and Paulson’s $700 Billion dollar bailout) that was passed by congress (including then senator Obama) and signed by Bush in October of 2008 (that’s before Obama was president folks), however the editing makes it seem like this was part of the whole Obama deception plan and just races through one insinuation after another, continuity be damned. Fact checkers would be taking notes if they weren’t so busy reading real news.
OK here is one of the Tees on sale on AJ's site. I guess it means the red communists (liberal democrats?) are going to forcibly take the people's money?
Then there's another puzzling one for the gun-nuts that shows an AK-47 assault rifle, a weapon which was developed in the Soviet Union and massively exported by the Soviet Union and Communist China during the Cold War. They couldn't find an M-16 clip art?
My take on A.J. is that his stuff appeals to folks who think reading the Wall Street Journal, The Guardian, The Nation, The Times, or any other number of respected information sources is “square”, and plus all these so-called reliable news sources around the world are all part of the new world information war against your mind so why bother? Just go splurge $220 on the Alex Jones Everything Special, a variety pack of all his nutty videos in one swoop. Sit back, toke up the bong and find out what’s really maybe might be going on.
Now let’s see if A.J. can capitalize off the current Michael Jackson conspiracies. Remember We Are The World ? Did you know that is actually the clandestinely created theme song for the New World Order put in place by the military-industrial-entertainment complex during the 80s to begin the softening of our minds to the idea of a one world government, setting the stage for Barack Obama to come and “loot the middle class, destroy pensions and federalize the states so that the population is completely dependent on the Central Government * “. Like his other eye-opening (eye-rolling) biopics it would certainly make it’s theatrical premiere on Google Video and Youtube, where we all know many fine well-researched documentaries make their debut.
Alex, I’d be happy to submit some original music for your next doc provided I get a negotiable flat rate, a few publishing points and a cut of the royalties. Conversely- any members of the Illuminati/N.W.O. secret one world government interested in using my beats for some high level brainwashing propaganda I’d offer the same deal.
All that said I am personally hardline skeptical of the U.S. government, appalled at the giveaways, and think that Timothy Geithner shouldn’t be anywhere near anything that resembles a treasury, but I urge all the kiddies that find AJs material interesting to move on to more responsible information sources from all over the world and political spectrum, preferably ones that don’t have an ulterior motive of trying to sell you tons of merch. If you want entertainment try Penn & Teller, they’re way funnier than AJ could ever be. Laughing is good for you, N.W.O. 911 conspiracy wackos are not.

alex jones may make money out of promoting his own merchandise but so does everybody.. you yourself are trying to promote your own music and album throughout your post.. anyways that aint the point.. alex is a reporter.. promoting his own view on events and theres no reason why anybody should believe a reporter writing articles for a newspaper over alex.. i read plenty of newspapers, you can take any two newspapers on any day and each will be giving you a different version of the “facts”.. the world may or may not be heading for a new world order but it certainly looks that way.. people in power are always talking of producing a new world order.. in 2001 the european union put out a referendum to all member states for europe to be run by one european government and europe to become one superstate.. fact.. britain was told whatever the outcome of the vote would be the final decision.. wrong!.. in 2008 the european union changed the name of its proposal to “the lisbon treaty” and the british people got no vote on it at all.. what they got was the british governmet trying to force them into it and hand over almost all political power to europe.. with new laws over-riding all british law.. and america has enforced the same thing under a different name.. so if you want to walk about with your eyes closed go ahead, after all governments never lie. newspapers always tell the truth.. yea right.. if you want to talk about global warming then perhaps you can look into the fact the earth has been around for 4.5 billion years and weve been here a mere percent of that.. nature will do whatever it wants to do, no matter what we try or what we blame it on..
I made sure to state that I think Jones’ merchandising is great, even though the actual merchandise is silly- so aren’t pop tarts.

The search for the truth requires checking a myriad of sources. “One stop shopping” sources like AJ are attractive because it makes things that are incredibly complex (geopolitical macro & micro issues) seem very simple. NWO are running everything, brainwashing everybody, THE END (click to purchase).
I think ‘climate change’ is a better term for what you refer to as global warming. No one in their right mind believes that it is not happening. The scientific community may differ on what the cause is (man-made or natural cycle, a combination) but if folks pressed pause on The Obama Deception for a second and read through some scientific literature you can get up to speed on the boring, unsexy topic of CO2 emissions, coal burning, Artic sea levels, etc.
Quasi-libertarian fringe activists love to deny ‘climate change’ altogether, because they view it as a government plot to force them to buy special lightbulbs, or not ride their jet-skis in small ponds. Again, Jones’ take on climate change oversimplifies for the masses. “Socialist liberals want to take away your SUV, and force you to buy cloth diapers” (click to purchase).
