In America it’s perfectly legal (and ethical?) for supplement pushers, pharmacy giants, and medical device companies to employ actors to portray official MDs in the many ads that fly into your subconscious via radio and (especially late night) TV. That’s right. A vast majority of doctors and other medical experts that appear in ads for pills, creams and cure-alls, lending them credibility are just actors playing that part. But you knew that right? And if you didn’t isn’t it crazy you learned it from a music producer’s blog?
