Here’s something to tweet about. In case Americans weren’t stressed enough about record unemployment, a bummy economy and terrorism, news that Avian Flu has been discovered on a second poultry farm in Canada’s westernmost province could be the twig that breaks your nest. A quick glance at a map of Bird Flu ‘progress’ shows that North America is ripe for some H5N1 strains. Although 250 human deaths have been attributed to Avian Flu worldwide, those folks got it from other birds- the big bad news will be when the virus becomes communicable from human to human.
